A purple crescent moon, curved like a sickle, hung in the night sky. Purple moonlight blanketed the boundless land, filling the entire world with an eerie atmosphere.

Sandstorms swept for thousands of miles, plunging heaven and earth into chaos. Fierce winds carried azure sand that scraped against the body like countless steel blades. The flying dust struck a castle in the distance, producing the clang of metal, yet no matter how the sandstorm battered it, the castle had remained unchanged for hundreds of millions of years.
The castle was enormous, standing in the middle of the desert. It could be seen from afar, as majestic as a mountain range. At the center of the castle was an open square paved with azure bricks.
On the square stood two enormous magic arrays side by side, each spanning over a hundred meters. Two people stood quietly beside them.
Both wore golden robes, and each had a golden mark on their forehead.
Even farther away, many more golden-robed figures stood guard.
"It's getting late. They'll probably come to collect people for departure in the next round. It should be Carlos's turn, right?" a tall, thin man in a golden robe said with a smile.
"There isn't a single God Level expert among this batch. Carlos will probably be pleased," the short-haired, burly man beside him said with a chuckle.
"Haha, with how hard Carlos cultivates, he'd rather the people arriving here be as weak as possible. It would be best if they were all Saint-levels. Saint-levels are the easiest to deal with; just toss them somewhere. That would save him plenty of time to cultivate," the tall, thin man said.
