In Dalaran, Hu Feng strolled down the pale violet streets with his not-quite-official sister-in-law.

"Life's been treating you pretty well, huh? How's the official ambassador job? Any difficulties?"

Vareesa shrugged, took out more than a dozen silver coins, and handed them to a vacant-looking treant by the roadside. She then took several large red apples from the basket on the ground.

"Thanks, apple tree... There haven't been any difficulties. This ambassador job is boring me to death. Most of the time, I have absolutely nothing to do. I want to apply for a transfer back to the Empire!"

Hu Feng smiled and shook his head. "Keep at it a little longer. This is your first assignment where you're handling things on your own, after all. You can't start strong and finish weak. By the way, you've been in Dalaran for a while now. Seen any young men you like? Hahaha."

Vareesa curled her lip and snorted.

"With you looming over everyone, even the rats in Dalaran's sewers know that our esteemed Divine Venerable intends to take the Windrunner Sisters home as a package deal. So who would dare set their sights on me... right, my Divine Venerable?"

Hu Feng immediately let out a few awkward laughs and said nothing.

"So I've figured it out now. I won't be able to escape sooner or later anyway, so... it just depends on when the Divine Venerable decides to make his move."

Vareesa shot Hu Feng a sidelong glance, then viciously bit into the Sothtrend Basin red apple in her hand.

"Hey, what do you mean, waiting for me to make a move? Didn't I already make a move before? Even if that was an accident..." (After much consideration, Old Hu decided to admit to the plot posted in the group!)
