Hu Feng expanded his empire and its Chosen Crusaders while conflicts spread across Azeroth and Outland. The arc ended with Illidan gathering forces in Outland as Kil'jaeden sent a fleet to destroy the Dark Portal.

• Hu Feng summoned Medivh and then hundreds of her succubi, giving them a home and ordering Medivh to keep Azshara under surveillance.
• Calia and the Lordaeron Restoration Army fought for Alterac while the Forsaken and the druids investigated the worgen outbreak at Shadowfang Keep.
• Hu Feng unveiled the Chosen Crusaders, a teleporting force equipped with crystal-powered armor, and declared them his blades for future battles.
• Varian defeated Rend Blackhand and led the Alliance toward Blackrock Spire, while Tirion lost his son and vowed to rebuild the Silver Hand Knights.
• Hu Feng and Elisande entered another timeline's Suramar, where Elisande killed her counterpart and Hu Feng sealed the city before they returned home.
• A Tauren stranded near Azeroth traded equipment blueprints for help powering his craft, but the spacetime turbulence vanished before he could return.
• Illidan and Maiev defeated Malthael as Akama's Broken, Sok'reth's Eredar, and Fashqi's Naga assembled and secured territory for Illidan's army.
• Kil'jaeden sent Fel Battleships to Outland to crush resistance and destroy the Dark Portal.

As the Alliance, Horde, and their allies prepared to strike the Scourge, Heklar expanded his influence and Hu Feng confronted Yao Dao Ji over the deaths of her family. The coalition entered Stratholme and began its assault on Naxxramas, while Oscar prepared to turn against the Lich King from within.

• Heklar reopened Gurubashi Arena, seized control of Booty Bay, and built his influence through Heklar Bank, while the Alliance and New Horde coordinated against the trolls without declaring war on each other.
• Hu Feng joined the battle at Blackrock Mountain, helped the Alliance defeat the True Horde, and discovered that his clash with Sargeras had caused the curse that killed Yao Dao Ji's family.
• Yao Dao Ji attacked Hu Feng for revenge, but he apologized and offered to undo the tragedy through time travel, and she refused to let his remorse erase his responsibility and left to join the Scourge offensive.
• Tirion Fording united the Silver Dawn, Alliance, Horde, and Lordaeron Restoration Army for the campaign against Stratholme, while Oscar secretly gathered loyal undead and promised to help the coalition.
• The coalition advanced into Stratholme, where Oscar's influence turned Scourge forces against one another and his Scarlet Undead secured the city as the allies prepared to enter Naxxramas.
• Heklar tested the Chosen Titan prototype, while Hu Feng showed Alleria new weapons intended to strengthen the Crusaders.
• The allies fought through Naxxramas as Oscar began a rebellion against the Lich King, and Gul'dan arrived with warlocks and demons to attack Harvest Gothik.
• Bridget Abendis held the Crimson Vanguard's line as Bolvar, Tirion, and Calia attacked Mekkasna, Saurfang fought Patchwerk, and Yao Dao Ji faced Instructor Razuvious until the Firstborn of the Gods intervened.

Hu Feng united forces against the Aqir, opened Angerla, and helped Cthulhu devour C'Thun, leaving Silithus transformed and the allied armies returning home. As the Alliance continued its campaign against Ragnaros, Hu Feng restored Alexstrasza's essence and departed for Azuremyst Isle, while Oscar stumbled into the End Time and encountered the Eternal Dragons.

• Garithos returned to Lordaeron to support Calia, while Auriel witnessed the creation of the first Dawn Regent.
• The Crusaders and their allies fought through Naxxramas, but Mograine's forces turned Darian into a Death Knight and Kel'Thuzad escaped to Northrend.
• Varian and the Alliance arranged Sorcer's death and accepted Moira's demands, bringing the Dark Iron Dwarves back into Ironforge and preparing an assault on Molten Core.
• Hu Feng called the world's factions together against the Aqir as Green Skins attacked Light's Hope Chapel and allied forces converged on Silithus.
• Hu Feng struck the Gong of the Scarabs, and the allied armies stormed Angerla while the Firstborn fought the Twin Emperors and Azeroth's Vengeance killed them.
• Sargeras battered C'Thun as Cthulhu arrived and devoured him, then healed Azeroth and transformed Silithus into a dangerous, mist-covered forest.
• Hu Feng restored Nozdormu's control of time and later returned Alexstrasza's essence, while Windsor led Alliance and Dark Iron forces against Ragnaros's army.
• Oscar touched an Eternal Dragon time distortion in Stratholme, reached the End Time, and returned after encountering Malygos and the Bronze Dragons.

Hu Feng brought the allied armies through the Dark Portal, seized the Hammer of Argus, and fought alongside the Burning Legion against an Old God in Outland. The Draenei found a homeland, Garrosh joined the New Horde, and the Forgotten Ones seized Andorhal as factions clashed over the Western Plaguelands.

• Turalyon and Hu Feng arranged a separate home for Velen’s Draenei on Azuremyst Isle, then Velen accepted land in Azshara in exchange for access to the Exodar’s technology.
• The Alliance defeated Ragnaros, and Hu Feng returned the Skull of the Tempest Lord’s essence to Thunderaan, who transformed Hu Feng’s sword blank into Thunderfury before dying.
• Hu Feng bound Kazak to his service, recruited demon forces, and led the allied armies through the Dark Portal into Outland as the Legion gathered to resist them.
• Hu Feng dragged the Fel Battleship Hammer of Argus from the sky, captured its crew, and discovered Argus’s location, while Illidan chose to defend Shadowmoon Valley rather than join the invading armies.
• Garrosh joined the New Horde after meeting Grom and Thrall, while Hu Feng and Turalyon secured Akama and the Broken’s support for Illidan.
• Hu Feng restarted the arakkoa ritual and fought the Old God alongside the Burning Legion, Khadgar’s forces, and the Naaru, destroying it with Azeroth’s Vengeance and dawn light.
• The Forgotten Ones defeated the Scarlet Crusade at the Scarlet Monastery, killed Reno and Whitemane, and took Andorhal as the Silver Dawn and Crimson Vanguard contested the Western Plaguelands.
