Varian and the Alliance leaders conspired to assassinate Sorcer and frame the Fire Elements, clearing the way for Moira to rule the Dark Iron Dwarves. After Sorcer died and Moira took power, the Dark Iron Dwarves joined the Alliance, which prepared to attack the Molten Core.

Hu Feng and Cthulhu defeated C'Thun, and Cthulhu began healing Azeroth while transforming Silithus into a foggy forest and holy land. The allied forces departed for home and other campaigns, leaving a new temple rising in the transformed region.

• C'Thun asked Hu Feng whom he served, and Hu Feng declared that he served himself and Azeroth and intended to conquer the universe for them.
