In the original story, Isaac had fought Hyoga to the death largely because Hyoga had killed their teacher, Camus. But Camus was still alive and well now—at most, he had merely been beaten up by Saori Kido. Deep down, Isaac had never wanted to fight the Saints.

Hyoga was the only reason they had needed to fight at all. If Camus had come instead, Isaac probably would have defected on the spot.

Next was Sea Dragon Kanon, who was fighting Shiryu. Seeing that things were going badly, he used the Golden Triangle, but rather than attack Shiryu, he tried to jump into it and escape. Yota simply reached out and dragged him back.

Sea Horse Baian was eventually knocked down by Seiya, whose Comet Punch grew stronger as the battle continued. Scylla Io was famed for his ever-changing techniques, but Shun's Nebula Chain was equally versatile. In the end, Shun dismantled every one of his moves and defeated him completely.

By this point, the entire Sea World had more or less been subdued by the Saints.
