Opening Heaven and Earth

In Dark Space, Yota reached out and used the transformative power of the Munch-Munch Fruit, ripping off all the wings from the angels' backs before throwing every angel into Sanctuary.

Nearly all of an angel's holy light was stored within their wings. In Diablo III, Tyrael had torn off his own pair of wings, fallen directly into Sanctuary, and become a mortal.

Yota had no intention of killing all these angels, so he chose a method similar to Tyrael's.

By now, he had practically swept up all the power of the angels, demons, Heaven, and Hell. Looking at the immense light and dark energy in his hands, Yota took out the Worldstone.

The Sanctuary created by the Worldstone maintained a balance between light and darkness. Demons and angels could even give birth to Nephalem there, showing that the Worldstone's essence favored neither light nor darkness. Instead, it possessed the ability to fuse the two powers.

The wings of the five Archangels and the souls of the Seven Demon Kings were all thrown into the Worldstone. Then, the power of Heaven and those angel wings, along with the power of Hell that Yota had completely wiped out, were slowly fed into the Worldstone as well.

Yota then spread his hands and began drawing runes in the void. This was the power of Rune Words that he had obtained from the memories of many wise men and prophets, such as Deckard Cain and Akara.

As a power unique to the Dark World, Rune Words could practically be called the source power of the entire Dark World. Yet even those wise men and prophets had only a superficial understanding of it.
