Ch. 322Atlanteans

Batman, Flash, and Yota tried to recruit Arthur Curry to help protect the world, but Arthur refused and pointed them toward Superman instead. Yota revealed that he knew Arthur was Atlantean royalty and urged him to contact his Atlantean friends, though Arthur doubted Atlantis would care about events on land.

  • Batman, Flash, and Yota waited at the lighthouse before knocking on Arthur Curry's door.
  • Arthur rejected Batman's request to join a team of extraordinary heroes and suggested they find Superman instead.
  • Yota told Arthur that he was an Atlantean royal, and Arthur confirmed he had been exiled and knew little about Atlantis.
  • Yota asked Arthur to consult his Atlantean friends about events in Atlantis and relay concerns to them.
  • Arthur warned that Atlanteans cared mainly about pollution from the land and showed little interest in human affairs.

Ch. 323Sparring

Yota challenged Aquaman Arthur to a sparring match to convince him of his strength and recruit his help contacting the Atlanteans. Yota struck Arthur with Fish-Man Karate and sent him flying, leaving the lighthouse windows shattered.

  • Arthur doubted that he could help save the world and questioned why Yota and the others had come to him.
  • Yota offered to teach Arthur martial arts in exchange for his help contacting the Atlanteans, and Arthur accepted the challenge.
  • Yota and Arthur faced off outside Arthur's house while Flash and Batman watched.
  • Yota used Fish-Man Karate, Million Watt Smash Fist, and sent Arthur flying with one punch.
  • The punch's shockwave shattered the lighthouse and house windows, and Flash carried Batman several hundred meters away.

Ch. 324Fish-Man Karate and the Disciple

Yota defeated Arthur in an underwater fight and agreed to teach him Fish-Man Karate and Fish-Man Jujutsu. Arthur contacted Atlantis with a conch shell, noting that its people had been unusually busy and absent.

  • Arthur challenged Yota to fight in the water, but Yota overwhelmed him with Fish-Man Jujutsu.
  • Arthur accepted defeat and served Yota coffee to formally become his disciple.
  • Yota explained that Fish-Man Karate suited Atlanteans because of their strength and connection to the sea.
  • Arthur took out a communication conch and said he could use it to contact Atlantis.
  • Arthur called Yota by his name and prepared to contact the Atlanteans, remarking that they had been unusually busy.

Ch. 325Waiting

After the Atlanteans failed to answer Aquaman’s conch, Yota suspected the Mother Boxes had caused trouble for both Atlantis and the Amazonians. He explained the weakened state of Earth’s ancient protectors, and Batman concluded that the Mother Boxes had to be protected to stop Apokolips’s invasion.

  • Aquaman repeatedly blew the conch after the Atlanteans failed to appear, growing anxious that something had happened to Atlantis.
  • Yota told Batman that the Atlanteans’ silence and Wonder Woman’s disappearance might be connected to abnormal changes in the Mother Boxes.
  • Yota explained that Atlantis and the Amazonians were declining civilizations whose gods had been devastated or killed during Apokolips’s previous invasion.
  • Batman concluded that the Mother Boxes were gateways for Apokolips and that protecting them was the group’s highest priority.

Ch. 326Mera

Mera told Arthur, Batman, Yota, and the others about Apokolips and the threat posed by the Mother Boxes. After learning Atlantis had contained its Mother Box’s signals, they decided to check the one on Paradise Island.

  • Mera arrived and told Arthur that Atlantis was preparing for a crisis involving the Mother Box.
  • Batman revealed that the group had found Parademons, and Yota produced their corpses for Mera to examine.
  • Mera identified the creatures as Parademons from Apokolips and explained that the Mother Boxes could open a passage for invasion.
  • Mera shared Atlantis’s preserved knowledge of Apokolips, including how the Mother Box’s fluctuations had put Atlantis on war readiness.
  • Arthur accepted that Earth was in danger, and Mera told Batman that Atlantis had contained its Mother Box’s signals.
  • Yota proposed that the group go to Paradise Island to check the condition of its Mother Box.

Ch. 327Paradise Island

Yota, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, and Mera traveled to Paradise Island to investigate its Mother Box after it began acting strangely. Queen Hippolyta let the men enter despite the island’s rules, and the group found the chained Mother Box as Yota sensed that Diana was weakened.

  • Yota suggested that the Atlanteans could locate Paradise Island, and Mera agreed to guide the group there but warned that men were normally forbidden from entering.
  • Batman and Arthur persuaded Mera to join them as a liaison, and she agreed because she wanted to help with Earth’s crisis.
  • Mera brought the group to Paradise Island, where Queen Hippolyta allowed the men ashore after Batman said they represented Earth.
  • Hippolyta explained that the island’s Mother Box had begun attacking them and led the group to a temple.
  • Yota sensed that Diana was weakened and detected powerful energy coming from the Mother Box chained above the temple floor.

Ch. 328Omega Effect

Yota and Batman learned that Diana had been gravely wounded while suppressing the Amazonian Mother Box, and Yota identified the attack as Darkseid’s Omega Beams. Yota healed Diana enough for her to awaken, leaving her reunited with Hippolyta.

  • Batman asked Queen Hippolyta where Diana was, and Hippolyta revealed that she was badly injured and being treated.
  • Hippolyta explained that red tracking beams had burst from the Mother Box, erased the Amazonian guards, and wounded Diana.
  • Yota identified the beams as the Omega Beams, Darkseid’s signature power, and offered to heal Diana.
  • Yota found Diana with a hole in her chest and both hands severed, then used Yang Release Chakra to repair her injuries.
  • Diana woke as her wounds healed, and Hippolyta rushed to her daughter.

Ch. 329Borrowing a Devil Fruit

Diana recovered from the Omega Beams but had lost both hands, and Yota sought a way to heal her without risking her life. He borrowed Marco's Phoenix Fruit and returned to Paradise Island, where the group was still waiting.

  • Diana remembered the Omega Beams had destroyed her hands and Bracelets of Submission, but insisted the fight against the Mother Box mattered more than her injuries.
  • Hippolyta explained that Diana's hands had been erased, and Yota warned that neither reattaching them nor fitting ordinary replacement arms would work.
  • Yota decided that Marco's Phoenix Fruit might restore Diana's hands, and Hippolyta offered him anything from Paradise Island's treasury if he could heal her.
  • Yota traveled to the Pirate World, borrowed Marco's Phoenix Fruit, and returned to Paradise Island after spending several hours at a banquet.
  • Yota arrived back in the middle of the night and found the group still awake and waiting for him.

Ch. 330Rebirth Through Fire

Yota healed Wonder Woman by giving her the Phoenix Fruit, then explained its powers and offered Flash a different Devil Fruit in exchange for studying the Speed Force. The chapter left Flash defending his fighting ability as Yota and Wonder Woman pointed out how often he lost to weaker opponents.

  • Yota ignored Batman's questions and gave Wonder Woman a Devil Fruit to heal her injuries.
  • Wonder Woman ate the fruit, transformed into a phoenix, and recovered fully as Yota explained its abilities.
  • Yota offered Flash a Human-Human Fruit in exchange for borrowing the Speed Force for research.
  • Yota and Wonder Woman told Flash that Batman could beat him in a barehanded fight.
  • Yota mocked Flash's record of losing to weaker criminals, and Flash protested that he was not a hero who relied on physical strength.

Ch. 331Split into Two Groups

After Flash ate an artificial Devil Fruit, Yota and Batman discussed the threat Apokolips still posed despite the Mother Boxes being under control. The group split up to contact Superman and the government while Aquaman and Mera stayed behind to guard Paradise Island.

  • Flash ate an artificial Devil Fruit and showed off his increased strength, while Yota declined to become a speedster himself.
  • Yota warned Batman that Apokolips would not abandon Earth easily, citing the Parademons’ costly journey as evidence.
  • Batman decided to bring Superman back by contacting his mother, Martha, and to notify the United States government through the DEO.
  • The group split into two teams: Yota and Wonder Woman went to find Martha, while Flash accompanied Batman to the DEO.
  • Aquaman and Mera remained on Paradise Island to guard its Mother Box and protect the island.

Ch. 332Contacting Superman

Yota and Wonder Woman went to Kent Farm to contact Superman about a possible crisis, where they found Lois Lane visiting Martha. Martha agreed to help them reach Clark, and Lois showed them the Kryptonian video-call device he had left behind.

  • Yota and Wonder Woman arrived at Kent Farm and found Lois Lane with Martha.
  • Lois questioned Wonder Woman about their visit, and Yota warned that Earth might face another crisis.
  • Martha asked for proof of the disaster before agreeing to help contact Superman.
  • Lois vouched for Yota and Wonder Woman, and Martha led them to the basement.
  • Lois explained that Clark had left a Kryptonian video-call machine with a crystal screen.

Ch. 333The Flash Gets Sacrificed

Yota and Wonder Woman told Superman that Apokolips had begun sending troops to Earth, and Superman returned to inspect a Parademon corpse. Batman then reported that Cyborg had been controlled and ambushed The Flash, leaving him badly injured with a broken leg.

  • Lois contacted Superman, and Yota told him that Aliens had arrived through spatial teleportation.
  • Superman hurried back to Earth and examined the Parademon corpse Yota produced while Wonder Woman explained Apokolips's forces.
  • Batman called Yota to report that something had happened to the Mother Box Earth was guarding.
  • Batman said Cyborg had been controlled and had ambushed The Flash, who was badly injured with a broken leg.

Ch. 334Treating Flash

Yota and Batman brought the badly wounded Flash to the DEO, where Cyborg attacked him and escaped after the heroes drove him off. Yota restored Flash’s body, leaving the threat of Cyborg and his Mother Box unresolved.

  • Yota brought Superman and Wonder Woman to the DEO, where Flash lay near death from severe injuries.
  • Cyborg entered purge mode, shot Flash, and seized control of much of the DEO’s defenses.
  • Batman used electromagnetic pulse weapons with DEO forces to drive Cyborg away, but they failed to capture him.
  • Yota worried that Cyborg’s Mother Box could bring reinforcements from Apokolips, while Clark could not locate him.
  • Yota explained that Flash could not eat another Devil Fruit and used the Munch-Munch Fruit to restore his body and regrow his leg.
  • Flash woke up and asked whether he had received the Phoenix Fruit, but Yota clarified that he had only repaired him.

Ch. 335Outbreak

After Cyborg’s betrayal prompted the American Government to mobilize, the Justice League faced a massive Parademon attack on Metropolis. The heroes fought off Kryptonite-wielding Parademons as Flash evacuated the city, but the invasion continued.

  • The American Government searched unsuccessfully for Cyborg, while the Justice League formed with Yota taking Cyborg’s place.
  • Superman and Batman planned to use the Fortress of Solitude to search for Cyborg, but a large Parademon attack struck Metropolis first.
  • Superman rapidly defeated many Parademons until green-glowing Parademons carrying Kryptonite stopped him.
  • Yota deduced that the Kryptonite came from the DEO’s stockpile and used an Almighty Push to knock away the Parademons attacking Superman.
  • Flash evacuated Metropolis as more Parademons filled the sky, while the Justice League continued fighting.

Ch. 336Steppenwolf

Yota and the Super Heroes fought Steppenwolf, whose armor resisted Yota’s spatial attack and whose strength kept the team on the defensive. As Parademons joined the battle, Superman was forced to retreat under a barrage of Kryptonite.

  • Flash joined Superman, while Wonder Woman and Aquaman landed nearby and warned that a major threat was coming.
  • Steppenwolf arrived and demanded that the heroes submit to him and Lord Darkseid, but Yota mocked his loyalty and provoked him into attacking.
  • Yota evaded Steppenwolf’s axe with Kamui and struck him with a spatial shuriken, but Steppenwolf’s armor resisted the cut more than Yota expected.
  • Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Superman, and Yota attacked Steppenwolf together, forcing him to focus on Yota’s potentially lethal spatial abilities.
  • Parademons descended and overwhelmed the battlefield with their numbers, while Kryptonite-carrying Parademons and Steppenwolf drove Superman into a desperate retreat.

Ch. 337Ant Nest

Batman and Flash located the underground Boom Tube as Parademons poured out beneath Metropolis, and Yota left Steppenwolf’s battlefield to stop them. Yota’s Planetary Devastation exposed vast underground caverns and Parademon factories, revealing that missing homeless people had been turned into Parademons.

  • Batman and Flash found the approximate location of the Boom Tube and saw Parademons surge from underground.
  • Yota used Kamui to leave Steppenwolf’s battlefield after Wonder Woman and Aquaman agreed to hold him off.
  • Yota warned Batman and Flash to move away, then unleashed Black Hole—Planetary Devastation across much of Metropolis.
  • Yota’s attack crushed or consumed Parademons and tore open the city, exposing underground caverns filled with them.
  • Superman spotted Parademon factories where homeless people were being converted, and Yota complained that the authorities had failed to notice.

Ch. 338Twin Springs of Drowning

Yota’s Planetary Devastation devastated the Parademon army, but Superman was badly injured by an Omega Effect attack and the heroes’ defenses began to fail. As Wonder Woman and Aquaman struggled against Steppenwolf, Yota used the Twin Springs of Drowning on himself to gain a powerful advantage.

  • Yota used Planetary Devastation to wipe out large numbers of Parademons, then dodged two red beams that came through a Boom Tube and struck Superman.
  • Yota rescued Superman from nearby Parademons, but the lingering Omega Effect left Superman unable to fight.
  • High-ranking Parademons arrived with Boom Tubes as the heroes’ defensive line neared collapse, with Superman carried away by Flash and Batman unable to contribute much.
  • Steppenwolf focused his attacks on Aquaman, while Wonder Woman and Yota struggled to hold the battlefield against the Parademons.
  • Yota dropped a meteor on Parademons and their Mother Boxes, then sprayed himself with water from the Twin Springs of Drowning.

Ch. 339Victory

Yota and his allies defeated Steppenwolf and drove back the Parademons, though the battle left Metropolis in ruins. Afterward, the duplicated Wonder Woman and Aquaman merged back into one each, and Yota warned that Darkseid might come to Earth.

  • Two Yotas appeared, and one fought Steppenwolf while the other attacked the Parademons and duplicated Wonder Woman and Aquaman with a water gun.
  • The duplicated Wonder Women bound Steppenwolf with their lassos while the duplicated Aquamen restrained him, allowing Yota to pierce his chest with the Kamui Shuriken and kill him.
  • Yota burned out his Eight Gates power and turned to ash, but the Eight-Headed Serpent Fruit restored his body; he urged everyone to destroy the Parademons and cut off the Mother Box's Boom Tube before Darkseid could arrive.
  • Yota and the others devastated the Parademons with powerful attacks, and the surviving invaders retreated through the Boom Tube along with Cyborg, leaving Metropolis reduced to a crater.
  • Yota used hot water to merge the two Aquamen, and one Wonder Woman used heated water to merge the two Dianas back into one.

Ch. 340Preparing to Leave

After the Battle of Metropolis, Yota traded resources with Batman, helped resolve Arthur’s problem with the Twin Springs of Drowning, and gained the Amazonians’ trust to take the remaining Mother Boxes to other worlds. He gave Diana a Chakra Seed and, having secured Superman’s bloodline and the Mother Boxes, decided to leave the DC World while Darkseid remained a threat.

  • Yota assessed the Promethium, Nth Metal, and divine metal he had obtained, then traded springs water with Batman for his limited supply of metals.
  • Arthur asked Yota to remove the Twin Springs of Drowning’s effects, and Yota used the Spring of Drowned Man to address his problem.
  • After Cyborg took one Mother Box and the remaining boxes weakened, Yota proposed taking them to parallel worlds; Diana and the Amazonians agreed because they trusted him after he killed Steppenwolf.
  • Yota gave Diana a Chakra Seed, which he believed could let her and eventually the Amazonians develop great power over time.
  • Yota decided he had no reason to remain in the DC World, though he expected Darkseid to retaliate for Steppenwolf’s death.

Ch. 341Marvel World

Yota arrived in a Marvel world that combined characters and settings from several Marvel franchises, and considered its dangers and technology. After a mutant tried to rob him, Yota shocked him and learned his transformation ability was only a scam.

  • Yota identified his new world as Marvel after finding S.H.I.E.L.D., Stark Industries, the Baxter Building, and other familiar places.
  • Yota considered seeking Vibranium, Adamantium, Infinity Stones, and advanced technology from the world’s leading scientists.
  • A short mutant blocked Yota on a secluded street and threatened to tear him apart unless he handed over his valuables.
  • Yota shocked the mutant, who collapsed despite claiming he could not control himself when enraged.
  • The mutant admitted that he used his appearance-changing ability to frighten people into giving him money and that it granted him no extra strength.
