Ch. 388A Way

Magneto and the others prepared to fight Apocalypse, but they refused to bring Jean Grey because the Phoenix Force inside her was dangerously unstable. Yota offered to weaken the Phoenix Force so Jean could control it and join the battle, leaving Jean to decide whether to try his method.

  • Magneto summoned subordinates to join forces with the X-Men against Apocalypse, then hesitated to bring Jean Grey because she might lose control of the Phoenix Force.

  • Wolverine supported Yota, who asked to take some of his flesh and blood to use his healing factor.

Ch. 396Battle's End

Ch. 398Conversation

Wolverine and Captain America reunited, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Coulson explained that Steve had awakened after seventy years in the ice. Steve recalled fragments of Wolverine’s past, including his brother Sabretooth and his deceased wife Silver Fox, but Wolverine’s lost memories remained mostly unrecovered.

Ch. 399Salary and Rank

Captain America asked Wolverine about his life after waking and learned that Mutants faced growing hostility. After Yota pointed out that Steve could claim decades of military pay and licensing fees for his image, Steve decided to buy a house rather than rely on S.H.I.E.L.D.

  • Steve noticed Logan's unease and asked how he had been treated in recent years.
