Wano Country.

In the Flower Capital, Kaido and Kurozumi Orochi were drinking and making merry.

King, looking displeased, walked in from outside and happened to be spotted by Kaido. "King, what's wrong? Judging by that look on your face, did you lose again?"

King was wrapped from head to toe in leather, making his expression impossible to see, but the flames on his back flared with a whoosh. Clearly, he was in no great mood.

"Guhahahahaha! It's fine. As long as Wano Country's natural fortress stands, the Marines and the World Government are nothing to worry about," the drunken Kurozumi Orochi said.

King swept Kurozumi Orochi with a cold glance and did not answer at all. Kaido was equally speechless toward this ally of his.

The way he said it made it sound as though King had been frightened into hiding in Wano Country. Though Kaido had long known his ally was unreliable and had always treated him as little more than a tool, he had never expected him to say something so idiotic.

Other than plotting how to take revenge on Wano Country, Orochi was full of schemes and tricks. In every other respect, he was a complete fool. It seemed as if he had been born solely to ruin Wano Country.

Forget it. No matter how idiotic he was, the ones suffering would only be the people of Wano Country. In fact, the more idiotic Wano Country's ruler was, the better. Otherwise, with Wano Country's potential for war, Kaido probably would not even be able to sleep soundly.

Seeing that no one was paying attention to him, Kurozumi Orochi did not mind and went back to drinking and making merry.

Kaido, however, looked rather serious. Over this period, the situation in Wano Country had never truly been good.
