A blossom of blood instantly bloomed across Kozuki Toki's chest. Then she collapsed to the ground, blood staining her entire chest red.
"Lady Toki! You bastard! How could you do something like this?!" Kawamatsu charged forward in grief and fury. But Clown Buggy shook Kozuki Hiyori in his hand, forcing him to stop where he stood.
"You scum! Lord Oden kindly took you in. Not only did you leak information to Kaido, you even laid hands on his wife and children. Are you even human, Clown Buggy?!"
The Nine Red Scabbards and Kozuki Oden had originally planned to ambush Kaido. Yet when they arrived at Onigashima, they discovered that Kaido had long been prepared. Their ambush became a frontal assault, and someone immediately suspected there was a traitor. Naturally, the prime suspect was Clown Buggy.
Now that he had seen Clown Buggy's actions, Kawamatsu had clearly reached his own conclusion.
"So I've committed such grave crimes." Clown Buggy wore an innocent expression. "Looks like I really am an utterly heinous sinner. Why don't I kill little Hiyori too?"
"You bastard!!" Kawamatsu's eyes reddened, and in his fury, his entire body swelled by a size. Clown Buggy chuckled. "Frog, frog, turn into an angry toad."
Laughing, he shook Kozuki Hiyori in his hand. Then her head suddenly dropped off with a whoosh.
"Lady Hiyori!!!" Kawamatsu felt something snap inside his head. He lunged forward as if he had lost his mind and threw a fist at Clown Buggy.
With a thunderous boom, Clown Buggy was smashed to pieces. His head landed before Kawamatsu, and just as Kawamatsu raised his fist to strike again, Clown Buggy's face suddenly grinned. He sprayed out a stream of green gas.
