Rapid Progress and a Forged Legacy

In the tranquil forest, faint lightning suddenly flared. A figure cloaked in electricity streaked through the trees at incredible speed, and massive trees one or two meters in diameter toppled in an instant.

"Senior, you were planning to commit suicide. Were you going to take your swordsmanship to the afterlife? You never thought of leaving a legacy for your own son!?"

"I really didn't think that much at the time..."

Hatake Sakumo's suicide had been an impulsive act born from obsessing over a single issue. It would have been strange if he had truly thought things through carefully before taking his own life.

After all, any normal man who gave even a little thought to his eight-year-old son could not bring himself to commit suicide over a few rumors.
