Before long, the players from these servers realized they could not complete the mission and obtain jurisdiction over Sky City on their own. Thus, aside from the Chinese Server, most other servers had formed alliances. For example, the Japanese Server, American Server, and other Major Servers had formed one alliance; neutral servers such as the Ukrainian Server and Swedish Server had formed another; while the Russian Server, African Server, Korean Server, and Central Asian servers had formed yet another alliance.
As the mission progressed, everyone drew closer and closer to Sky City, making encounters increasingly likely. For instance, the alliance of the Japanese Server and other servers ran into the alliance led by the Russian Server and others. Under normal circumstances, even if the former was very powerful, they would try their best to avoid a direct clash with the latter. Even if they won in the end, they would suffer considerable casualties and expend many resources, which was not something they wanted to see.
But things were different now. Between the two sides stood three or four Six-Winged Fallen Angels. Killing them not only gave them a high chance of obtaining national weapons, but could also yield Sky Sets and Fallen Stones, especially the latter. After all, those were necessary items for continuing the Sky City mission. Having so many Six-Winged Fallen Angels gathered together could save them a great deal of time and resources—after all, having several people use their ultimate moves to kill one Six-Winged Fallen Angel did not cost much less than killing three or four, especially when everyone unleashed various skills in overlapping attacks.
