San Mei Shi previously handled responsibilities within the Long Family comparable to the strategic roles later held by Yan Hua Yi Leng and Zuo Shang Qin Xin in Misty Pavilion. Her departure left Long Teng Tian Xia burdened with guild management and contributed to the Long Family’s decline. Although she later chose to advise the Long Family discreetly, she refused to leave Misty Pavilion, where she felt at home. 1795

Feeling that her ordinary Boxer class left her unable to contribute enough, San Mei Shi trained alone rather than returning to the guild immediately. Within several days, she learned a simplified form of the Nine Palaces Eight Trigrams Footwork by repeatedly studying Ye Luo’s movements, then used it to evade five or six Level 145 Domain-grade monsters at once. She and Ye Luo subsequently exchanged instruction: she taught him the Butterfly Step while he guided her footwork practice. 467 468
