"If we could afford Shunlai Inn, would we be crawling into alleys?" Xi Jin had developed a strong sense of crisis. "We need to see the rooms first. If they measure up to Shunlai Inn's second-class rooms, then we can discuss the price."
The man glanced at the sky and could only agree, getting up to lead them deeper into the alley.
"Don't worry. My old mother and my wife personally cleaned the place. It's spotless, not a bit worse than Shunlai Inn's second-class rooms. Fifty copper coins—you're getting a huge bargain."
Xi Jin followed behind them with a bundle on his back. "We don't accept that price yet. We'll talk
