Decommission Protocol.
Naturally, Gawain had not forgotten the "deterrent measure" he had used when he first went to Tarlonnd—using the elevated authority granted by Firmament Station to designate some of the Sailor space facilities as orbital debris and drop them onto "authorized zones" on the planet. Without protective measures, the residual energy within those space facilities and the destructive force carried by the facilities themselves would be enough to wreak havoc upon the target area, and the "level" of that devastation might even surpass a divine disaster.
After all, a divine disaster was merely the harm caused by a god losing control, whereas these facilities left behind by the Sailors... had once been used to slaughter gods.
Before Enya spoke, Gawain had considered the option of the Decommission Protocol, but after pondering for a long while, he still voiced his concerns. "I considered it, but the risk is too great."
A calm, indifferent voice came from within the Golden Giant Egg. "Because you cannot guarantee an accurate hit?"
Gawain nodded grimly. "...It really would be difficult to guarantee an accurate hit. That tower may be huge, but it is still a 'small target' for decommissioned orbital facilities. Those facilities have been in service for far too long. Even if their attitudes can be adjusted to some extent during decommissioning, the effect will be extremely limited—the more likely outcome is that they will strike the nearby Tarlonnd Continent."
Enya fell silent for two seconds before breaking the quiet. "How far off could they possibly be? Could they miss all the way to the Southeast Corner of Tarlonnd?"
"That should not happen," Gawain said, shaking his head. "I am confident in that degree of accuracy. The tower is in the northwestern outer sea of Tarlonnd, and the orbital decommission protocol could at
