After Enya brought up those ancient, distant memories, the Incubation Chamber instantly fell silent. Even the two hatchlings, who had only been born a short while ago, seemed to sense the shift in the atmosphere. They immediately nervously folded their wings and tucked in their necks, cautiously burrowing beneath Melita's feet—although Enya had been the first "person" they saw after hatching, Melita was clearly a more fitting image of a "mother" to the little ones than a round eggshell.

The two puppy-like hatchlings wriggled around at her feet, bringing an expression of both delight and nervousness to Melita's face. She bent down and carefully stroked the scales on their heads while looking up at Enya. "You mean... the Magic Erosion Marks on the hatchlings may be connected to the Azure Network? The magic within the Azure Network is 'rising'?"

"I can't be certain—those are memories from two million years ago, after all, and no theory proves that changes in the magic within the Azure Network are necessarily related to the mutations occurring in these hatchlings. Tarlonnd's technology was still very primitive back then," Enya said quietly. "But I believe Heragol and the others should be notified. They may no longer be capable of monitoring the Azure Network, but they should at least inspect recently hatched dragons. If more hatchlings really show signs of this magic erosion... then this needs to be taken seriously."

"I'll contact Tarlonnd as soon as I return," Melita immediately nodded. "When Speaker Andal contacted us last time, he said they had successfully repaired an Extraction Station. If its deep probes still work, perhaps they can still observe some changes in the Azure Network..."

Gawain also fell into thought. He considered what means he currently had to intervene in a planet-scale power megastructure like the Azure Network.
