As Sir Scott's final words fell silent, the image stored within this space reached its end. In a soundless instant, the hazy glow floating in midair drifted apart like falling snow, turning into countless tiny particles of light that swiftly vanished into the air. This seemed to trigger a chain reaction—in the instant the light scattered, a sheen suddenly swept across the entire platform. The radiance condensed into bright white lines and rapidly converged toward the center, while the fog-like light that had long swirled over the central area quickly dimmed and weakened over the next few seconds.
Diana stared blankly at the spot where Sir Scott had disappeared. The ancient Mind Core within her seemed to be running stiffly, as if processing an immense amount of emotional information. Gawain even heard an abnormal noise coming from within her, prompting him to ask worriedly, "Lady Diana, are you all right?"
"...I'm fine." Diana blinked and came back to herself. "The mission can continue."
Her voice remained detached and calm, as precise as a machine—and even calmer than usual.
Gawain watched Diana's eyes. After a moment, he nodded and turned toward the center of the observatory. The white light shrouding the area had now completely faded, revealing what had previously been hidden within it. He pointed in that direction. "Let's go examine those things. If I'm not mistaken, they should be the 'relics' Sir Scott left for you."
"They were left for all of us," Diana said softly as she walked toward them. Gawain gestured to the others following behind, and the group followed the white streams of light flowing across the ground toward the observatory's center, finally seeing the scene there—
At the center of the observatory stood only a circular platform around a meter wide, its middle slightly sunken.
