It was a scene of unparalleled grandeur, bizarre and terrifying—a scene that would have been listed as a forbidden passage in any mythic epic or tale of catastrophe for being too shocking. It unfolded above the Tarash Plains, and at least hundreds of thousands witnessed the soul-shuddering sight: an out-of-control, malformed god, a monster pieced together from enormous masses of shapeless flesh and countless twisted limbs, burst into the real world through a blasphemous, sinister rift. Yet only half of its body emerged.

Its body appeared to have been severed at the waist by some dreadful force, as though the being holding it back had struck a fatal blow while it struggled with all its strength. The severed half of the "divine body" flew out of the rift under its own momentum, plunging southeast of the Azure Well like a falling meteor. Tons of filthy flesh and countless fragments of unknown composition scattered along its path. Amidst a tremendous impact that shook the earth and mountains, it finally crashed onto a wasteland north of the Typhon forward base, then continued rolling across the uneven ground, gouging out a horrific trench that stretched for several kilometers.
