Does a Main Theme Exist

With Roy's secret intervention, Dracula's plan proceeded very smoothly.

When Anna arrived at Dracula's Castle, the moon was at its zenith. She had barely arrived when she witnessed her brother Viken transforming into a werewolf.

This transformation was an incredibly painful process. Muscles and bones would swell violently, tearing through the human skin. Thus, Viken was screaming in agony throughout the entire transformation.

Anna couldn't bear to watch, but Dracula grabbed her chin, forcing her gaze to turn.

After the transformation, Viken had become a burly werewolf, completely losing his reason. He was bound by thick chains. Whenever he roared and tried to break free, Igor, Dracula's loyal servant, would take out a long electric prod and jab him fiercely. This was how they trained the beast to keep Viken in line.

"Do you see, Anna? If you don't save him, he will be gradually trained like this until he becomes an obedient beast!" Dracula whispered into Anna's ear. "Under my command, he will do whatever I want. He'll be no different from a well-behaved dog!"

"No, don't do this!" Anna shook her head painfully.

"I can indeed save him!" Dracula said with a smile. "I have an antidote that can remove this werewolf virus and turn him back into a human. But as I said, whether I give you this antidote depends on you!"

"What do you want me to do?" Anna asked.

"Kill yourself!" Dracula said with a chilling smile. "If you sacrifice your life, you can save your brother Viken. If you can do it, I will give him the antidote!"

However, Anna didn't believe him at all. "What guarantee do you have? Do you vampires have any credibility? How do I know you won't kill my brother after I die? Don't forget, he and I are the last descendants of the Villeris Family. If we both die, you'll have no enemies left..."

"No, no, I can swear to the demons!" Dracula shook his head. "Please believe me. Killing you both would gain me nothing. But if I spare your brother and gain your soul, I might be able to have my child born. This is absolutely worth making an oath for!"

"You actually made a deal with demons again!?" Anna widened her eyes, looking at Dracula.

"What's so strange about that?" Dracula spread his hands. "In your eyes, I, a vampire, am also an unforgivable demon!"

Anna's face was full of hesitation and conflict. After a long while, she finally spoke, "I don't trust you, unless... unless you turn Viken back first!"

Before Dracula could speak, she quickly added, "Aren't both of us in your hands now? If you want me to sacrifice my life for him, at least let me see him turn back before I die!"

This time, it was Dracula's turn to hesitate. He thought for a long time and felt that Anna had a point. Both of them were in his hands now, so he wasn't afraid of Anna escaping. After some thought, he agreed to Anna's request and beckoned to one of his brides, asking her to fetch the antidote.

Before long, the bride returned with the antidote. It was a long syringe filled with the liquid.

"Inject him," Dracula signaled the bride.

The bride smiled charmingly and walked towards the chained Viken with the syringe. However, before she could reach him, a huge black shadow suddenly leaped down from above. Upon landing, it grabbed the bride's hand holding the syringe.

Dracula was startled at first. When he saw the appearance of the black shadow, he breathed a sigh of relief. "My Lord, why have you come!"

Roy ignored him, snatched the syringe, and crushed it with a crack!

"No!" Anna couldn't help but cry out at the sight.

"My Lord, what are you doing!?" Dracula also exclaimed.

That was the thing meant to lure Anna into killing herself. Without the antidote, how could Anna possibly produce a Noble Soul?

However, Roy sneered, "Dracula, are you an idiot? I've been watching from the shadows for a long time. Even I could tell she was prepared to die with you, yet you didn't see it?"

That's right. Roy, who had been flying with Lucius all the way, entered the Ancient Castle almost alongside Anna. Roy, who had been hiding in the shadows and watched the entire process from beginning to end, immediately noticed Anna's little scheme!

He could tell that due to Dracula's coercion, Anna's hatred for Dracula had reached its peak. Although she didn't know why Dracula was forcing her to sacrifice her life to save her brother, she also understood that she couldn't let Dracula succeed. So, she pretended to agree, planning to have Dracula turn her brother Viken back first. Then, she would fight Dracula to the death with her brother. When he realized Anna's mindset had changed, Roy had no choice but to act.

Actually, he hadn't been optimistic about Dracula's plan before. He had just approached it with a "give it a shot" attitude and let Dracula proceed. But human minds are extremely complex. Anna might have initially had the thought of sacrificing her life to save Viken. However, she might have thought that even if she saved her brother, he would likely be unable to get revenge alone. So, she simply came up with the idea of mutual destruction, wanting to try and fight Dracula to the death before she died.

Dracula wanted to create hope for Anna, but unexpectedly, it turned into despair...

Indeed, for humans, falling is easy, but achieving nobility is a bit difficult...

When he realized that even with his full cooperation, Dracula's plan couldn't succeed, Roy simply gave up on it. He decided to execute his other plan!

Just as Dracula was still looking conflicted by his words, Roy suddenly turned, extended his claws, and stabbed into the chest of Viken, who had transformed into a Werewolf!

"You... What are you doing!?" This sudden turn of events caught Dracula completely off guard. He never expected Roy to attack and kill Viken.

Not only that, but when Roy retracted his hand and grasped Viken's soul in his palm, he then charged towards Dracula.

Dracula was startled and quickly dodged. However, he didn't expect Roy's target wasn't him at all, but Anna, whom he had been controlling earlier.

Roy's expression was cold. His blood-stained claws gently gripped Anna's Neck, and with a slight squeeze...

With a crack, Anna's Neck contorted into a weird shape. Her face still held an expression of shock as she died.

"You! You!" Dracula trembled with rage. He never imagined that Roy would kill both Anna and Viken consecutively. He couldn't help but transform into a Vampire and pounce at Roy, roaring, "Damn it! I knew it, you never intended to make a deal with me from the beginning, did you!?"

He thought Roy killed Anna and Viken because he didn't want to make a deal with him or was greedy for their souls. This meant his plan to revive his Vampire children was completely ruined. In a fit of impulse, he started fighting Roy without regard for the consequences.

However, Roy completely ignored him and simply flicked his tail, sending the charging Dracula flying through the air.

Dracula's massive body tumbled and crashed, landing precisely in Lucius's direction. Lucius, who had been cowering in a Corner, never expected such a sudden turn of events and was hit squarely.

Dracula actually didn't guess wrong. Roy had indeed never intended to trade with him. He didn't want to help Dracula revive his disgusting little monsters.

But this wasn't the real reason Roy killed Anna and Viken...

After sending Dracula flying, Roy flapped his wings and flew up, finding a place to hide his form within Dracula's Ancient Castle.

In the darkness, Roy's Demon Vertical Pupils emitted a faint glow.

"Come on, let me see how this develops. Can justice truly triumph over evil...?"

Yes, this was Roy's ultimate goal. He really wanted to know if, in this movie-like world, such a Main Theme would still exist. If it did, it would be very disadvantageous for him as a demon. After all, his demonic identity made him a natural villain, belonging to the side of evil. If this situation couldn't change, he might as well stay in the Abyss and never enter such worlds again...

And to verify this, he had to see if Van Helsing could still kill Dracula without the help of the Villeris Family...

The previously clear night sky, illuminated by the moon, suddenly turned pitch-black, as if God's wrath had been provoked by the complete demise of the Villeris Family. Countless dark clouds began to gather, lightning flashed within the clouds, and rumbling thunder began to sound.

A bolt of lightning streaked across the night sky, illuminating the Ancient Castle. At the entrance, the lightning's glow revealed the face of a Black Shadow.

Van Helsing, he had finally arrived...
