In the springhead of the Well of Eternity, Roy hid the sword embryo. He was not worried that the Well of Eternity's eventual great explosion would blow it away, because he knew the Well's location would not change. At most, the springhead would later become the Maelstrom, but the Maelstrom would not be able to stir up or carry away the sword embryo.

When Roy returned to his original position, he found Julia and Benia, who had already completed their ascensions.

There was no need to say much about Benia. After Roy provided her with the Ouroboros Mark of a High-Level Angel, she successfully synthesized her own Divinity. The power of her Divinity was rather interesting as well—a form of mental control: Enslavement!

Roy had once thought Benia would awaken a Divinity power such as Seduction or Desire. After all, she was a Succubus. Although few Succubi could grow to the Demon King rank, a Divinity power should not stray too far from a Succubus's original abilities. Yet the Divinity power Benia gained after this awakening was "Enslavement," which still caught Roy somewhat by surprise.

Moreover, Benia's Divinity power was extremely powerful. She could forcibly enslave any object—not only living creatures, but also corpses and inorganic matter such as rocks and trees. However, this enslavement could not be imposed out of thin air; it had to be applied through strikes from her weapon, that little whip. Benia even demonstrated it for Roy. She lashed a huge boulder with her whip, and the stone was granted a special ability—it actually began moving on its own. Wherever Benia went, it followed. Wherever Benia pointed, it crashed toward. Roy and Julia were left utterly dumbfounded.

This was no longer mysticism. This was straight-up metaphysics...
