The Big One Is Coming

Azeroth, Eastern Kingdoms, Deadwind Pass, Karazhan.

At the top of the mage tower, shrouded in dark clouds and mist, within a withered and shattered expanse of space, Nozdormu, the Bronze Dragon King, faced off against Murozond, the Infinite Dragon King.

Seeing his plan fail because Nozdormu had interfered, preventing him from sending Osiris, the King of Despair, to the end of time as he had intended, Murozond roared furiously, "No! Nozdormu, why would you do this!? Because of your interference, the King of Despair is destined to appear in history. Both you and I will die because of his existence! Why are you no longer maintaining that damned sacred timeline at a time like this!?"

Facing the enraged Murozond, Nozdormu remained calm. "Because this is fate, Murozond... Since becoming the Guardian of Time, I have constantly tried to prevent Azeroth from being destroyed. Yet the more I interfered with time, the deeper I sank into chaos, until you were born... And your birth has also created the possibility of Azeroth reaching its end. Because you exist, maintaining the sacred timeline has become meaningless... If I cannot stop the worst possibility from happening, then I will at least guide it toward the best possible outcome."

Nozdormu looked at Murozond with utter sincerity. "I'm tired! Murozond, I finally understand why Neltharion fell. The burden bestowed upon me by the Titans is no longer something I can bear. But before I relinquish my position, I must resolve the mistake that arose because of me... That mistake is you, Murozond!"

"Ridiculous!" Mockery gleamed in Murozond's shadowy dragon eyes. "You cannot kill yourself, and likewise, you cannot kill me! We are one and the same!"

"Yes, I cannot kill myself, but..." As he spoke, Nozdormu looked behind Murozond. "He can!"
