Carol sighed, found a broken rock some distance away, and sat down. Watching the setting sun tremble on the horizon, she began contemplating life.
Seeing that this thickheaded woman had finally settled down, Evenson and Frigga both breathed a sigh of relief inwardly. It would have been one thing if her reflexes were slow; they could even overlook her being an intellectual wasteland. But the crucial issue was that she had absolutely no filter on her mouth!
She had nearly revealed the relationship between Evenson's demon army and Asgard. If she had, Evenson's plans would have been disrupted. Though the final outcome would not change, things would likely have ended in a different way.
