Although the time to prepare equipment for the Felified Humans had been short, Howitzer had spared no expense. Every vital part of their bodies was covered with fifty-millimeter-thick tank armor plates, while their joints were wrapped in reinforced B-fiber—equivalent to the thickness of two bulletproof vests.

Originally, the head of this armor-style bulletproof vest was protected by a hemispherical hood made from high-strength Bulletproof Glass, allowing for observation and visibility.

But now, Howitzer had crazily modified those hoods into sealed iron helmets made from tank armor material. Behind the armor plates was a high-definition LCD screen, displaying images transmitted by six miniature cameras embedded on the outside of the armor.

Not only did this greatly enhance their protection without hindering their vision, but more importantly, the images captured by the cameras could be adjusted. They could choose normal mode, night vision mode, or thermal imaging, and they could even see behind themselves. Rather than being affected, their observation capabilities had been vastly improved—a single move with many benefits.

In short, given the Felified Humans' physical qualities and the protection provided by this armor, ordinary firearms would barely register when fired at them. Even if a grenade exploded at their feet, it would at most force them back a few steps.

"Hacker, how's the search going on your end? The US Army has already brought in four companies." Twenty minutes had passed. Yinsen, who had been hiding near the warehouse entrance and secretly observing the battle, asked about Hacker's progress. Though he knew Tyrant Squad's combat strength, being fiercely attacked by four companies of soldiers still put him under immense psychological pressure.

"Damn it, everything here is filed by hand. There's no way to search it electronically. How could I find it that fast?" Hacker sounded even more anxious than Yinsen.
