Yet they discovered that she had not chased after them at all. Instead, she had simply shifted most of the city into the Mirror Dimension.
They were completely trapped inside. No matter how they fled, with a single thought from Ancient One, they would find themselves right back in front of her. It was not as though Kaecilius had not considered opening a portal to escape, but the moment he finished drawing the circle, he found the portal whooshing up a hundred meters into the air.
