There was a trace of impatience in his words!
If Zhenyuanzi could not give him a proper reason, Tathagata might very well lose his temper today.
Zhenyuanzi stood firm as well. He had someone backing him now, so he feared no one. His courage had returned.
Looking at Tathagata, Zhenyuanzi said, "Fellow Daoist Tathagata, you should know very well why I have come here."

Tathagata was stunned upon hearing this.
