With their movements so slow, they were riddled with openings. If Maitreya and Guanyin beside Randeng chose to strike now, to finish them off, they would almost certainly be wiped out, falling from the sky like dumplings dropped into a pot.
Maitreya and Guanyin simply watched from the side like spectators, with no intention of intervening.
Randeng alone was enough to suppress the so-called Seven Great Sages of the Demon Realm. There was no need for them to step in.
Randeng was the protagonist, so it was enough to let him handle it while they watched from the side. At the same time, Maitreya and Guanyin had chosen to remain spectators rather than act not merely because Randeng alone could easily suppress these so-called Seven Great Sages.
