"Demon Lord."
Yuwen Tuo released Ning Ke and looked toward the voice, immediately seeing the Demon Lord, ruler of the Demon Realm, seated upon the throne at the far end of the hall.
The Demon Lord was quite surprised by Yuwen Tuo's appearance in the Demon Realm. The Mark of the Heavens had already been repaired; even he, the Demon Lord, could no longer descend into the Human Realm.
Yet with the Mark of the Heavens intact, Yuwen Tuo had somehow crossed from the Human Realm into his Demon Realm. How could the Demon Lord not be shocked?
Shocked as he was...
This was the Demon Lord's territory, the stronghold of the Demon Realm. Yuwen Tuo had appeared here—there was a road to heaven, yet he refused to take it; there was no gate to hell, yet he insisted on barging in. He was simply courting death.
Since he was courting death, the Demon Lord would grant his wish.
With that thought, boundless power erupted from the Demon Lord's body and pressed down upon Yuwen Tuo. The instant their gazes met, Yuwen Tuo felt an utterly terrifying pressure bearing down on him.
Yuwen Tuo's body sank. The pressure was too overwhelming, completely beyond his ability to resist. His legs gave way, and he dropped to his knees before the Demon Lord.
It was not that Yuwen Tuo had not tried to struggle back to his feet, but before the Demon Lord, he was like an ant before a sage. He had no power to resist at all.
Yuwen Tuo was stunned. Is this the Demon Lord's true strength? It's too terrifying. Only then did he truly understand just how powerful the Demon Lord was.
No wonder the Demon Lord had been so unwilling to accept defeat after losing to him
