Hun Xiu left the cave abode. Mount Kunlun was shrouded in clouds and mist, a true immortal paradise. Yet as he gazed upon the wondrous scene before him, Hun Xiu began to worry. He was just an ordinary person now, without strength or anything else. In all of Mount Kunlun, he was the only mortal, the only ordinary person. The only one who needed to eat.
No one else needed to eat, and from the information he had received, cooking simply did not exist anywhere on Mount Kunlun. So, he wanted to eat.
That was a problem!
"Growl, growl, growl."
His stomach started growling again, and he gradually began to feel weak. This was what it felt like to be starving to the extreme. Hun Xiu rubbed his stomach and muttered, "I can only rely on myself."
Go to Sect Master Tongtian and tell his teacher that he was hungry? He had once been a powerhouse, after all. That would be too humiliating, and he simply could not bring himself to do it. Therefore, if he wanted to avoid starving, he had to rely on himself.
Leaving the cave abode,
Hun Xiu found a young attendant responsible for cleaning Mount Kunlun.
The attendant had clearly heard a little about him and knew that this unremarkable fellow before him was Sect Master Tongtian's eldest disciple. When Hun Xiu appeared before him, the attendant bowed. "Senior Disciple Brother!"
They were attendants of the Three Pure Ones Palace, responsible for cleaning. They could barely be considered disciples of the Three Pure Ones, but they were on a completely different level from a disciple like Hun Xiu.
"What is Junior Disciple Brother called?" Hun Xiu asked.
Whether he could get something to eat next depended entirely on this cleaning attendant before him.
