Ch. 782Haotian's Unease
Hongjun revealed that the Investiture of the Gods List now required three Saints and many other powerful beings, making the tribulation a calamity for the Saints. After the Six Saints blamed Haotian for the list, Haotian felt an ominous warning in the Heavenly Court and wondered whether it was directed at him.
- Hongjun silenced Primeval Lord of Heaven and Sect Master Tongtian, then explained that the tribulation would continue until the Investiture of the Gods List was filled.
- Hongjun told the Six Saints that the list required three Saints, ten Quasi-Saints, fifty Great Luo, three hundred and two Taiyi, and one hundred thousand Golden Immortals.
- Taishang Laozi asked whether the list’s requirements could be changed, but Hongjun said the Heavenly Dao’s demand was fixed and warned that those who entered the list would not easily leave.
- The Six Saints grew wary of one another and blamed Haotian for causing the Investiture of the Gods List, resolving to confront him after leaving the Purple Cloud Palace.
- Haotian sneezed in the Heavenly Court, felt an increasingly ominous premonition, and wondered whether it was aimed at him; Chi Yao reassured him that he would be fine.
