Background / History

Tang Yuge was raised believing that Yuan En Fengyu had abandoned and wronged her mother, Tang Ximeng. This belief fueled her hostility toward Yuan En Huihui and her determination to publicly humiliate him in the Great Soul Arena. 75

During the Seven Sacred Abyss trial, she learned that Yuan En Fengyu was not her biological father. Her biological father possessed the same Five Elements Qilin Martial Soul that Tang Yuge originally inherited. The revelation left her devastated and forced her to reconsider years of resentment toward Yuan En Fengyu. 220

Yuan En Fengyu later explained that he had pursued Tang Ximeng despite her choosing Tang Yuge's biological father. After Tang Yuge's maternal grandfather disappeared, Yuan En Fengyu located and returned him, then used the resulting gratitude to arrange an engagement with Tang Ximeng. Tang Ximeng married Yuan En Fengyu after believing Tang Yuge's biological father had died, but was already pregnant with Tang Yuge when the biological father returned. 220
