This dirt tasted awful, and it even had a stinky smell. Don't ask how she knew. She'd eaten it before.
Xue Wuyang dumped the dirt out. The two beside her, however, paid it no mind and instead carefully examined the girl before them.
Without almost any hesitation, they cried out, "Yangyang?!"
Neither Chi Xiu nor Xue Wuyang herself had expected Chi Anran and A Yin to recognize her so quickly.
"It's me..."
Xue Wuyang looked at them with mixed feelings, especially Chi Anran.
She had turned Uncle's descendants all into ashes...
How was she supposed to explain that? She couldn't explain it now, either, since the one before her was only a little over a year old.
But since they had met, she still had to convey her apology. Xue Wuyang dropped to her knees on the spot and performed a solemn kowtow toward Chi Anran.
"I'm sorry, Uncle! I ended your family line!"
Chi Xiu: "..."
Chi Anran did not understand. Thinking Xue Wuyang was playing with him, he smiled and knelt down as well, and the two began kowtowing to each other.
Beside them, A Yin happily swung her arms. "First bow to Heaven and Earth! Second bow... second bow to the elders! Husband and wife bow to each other!"
Xue Wuyang's expression stiffened. She turned back and helplessly glanced in Chi Xiu's direction.
She could only stand up, brush the dirt and sand from herself, and stride away.
Chi Anran and A Yin froze, then hurriedly chased after her. "Yangyang! Yangyang!"
The Metal Roundel stuck to her body at that moment, turning Xue Wuyang invisible again. She sighed.
"Huh? Where's Yangyang?"
"Yangyang, where are you?"
The two equally childish fellows searched for Xue Wuyang through the flower garden, busy as could be.
"Anran likes you a lot.
