A rogue who had been wearing tattered leather armor took the lead. His plain dagger was now wrapped in a thick golden glow, looking more splendid than a weapon made of gold.
All he wanted was to get in the monsters' faces and drive that dagger straight into their eye sockets!

Soon, a dark mass of monsters appeared on the horizon.
They were humanoid creatures corrupted by the Jealousy Plague. Their skin had turned an ominous gray-green, and the flames of jealousy burned in their eyes.
They outnumbered the players more than two to one. Roaring, they surged forward in a tide of destruction.
An hour ago, the mere sight of them would have been enough to make nine out of ten players there go weak at the knees and flee.

A Berserker at the front watched a Corrupted Stalker lunge toward him. There was no fear on his face, only a savage grin.
His great axe had once been covered in chips. Now its edge was sharp
