Scott felt like his entire world had gone wrong.
Those newly added rules were so glaring that he could barely keep his eyes open.
"Resurrection..."
Kevin's dry voice rang out beside him. "They can resurrect now."
It was undoubtedly a useless statement, but Scott's body still swayed uncontrollably, and he nearly lost his balance.
He raised his head and stared blankly at the two glowing figures in the distance.
One was the scarlet madman who was leading a large group of BOSSes around like dogs. The other was the golden Holy Spirit who had just carpet-bombed the ground with a Meteor Shower.
Just a few minutes ago, he had thought that was the most outrageous sight he would see today.
It was the difference in strength, the overwhelming superiority of their equipment.
He could grit his teeth and accept that.
But what about this?
Resurrection.
The opposing side could resurrect.
"This isn't just a matter of perspective, Scott." Kevin pushed up his glasses.
"This isn't as simple as having an extra life. It means their margin for error is infinite. They can use their lives to test every skill the BOSSes have, walk into danger zones we wouldn't dare enter, and execute any tactic that would be pure suicide in our eyes."
"Strategy...is already meaningless." Kevin summed it up, leaving all the North American players around them speechless.
The scout player in charge of intelligence was still sprawled on the ground, muttering over and over, "Cheating... This is official cheating... How can they modify the rules..."
On the city wall, the voices that had originally cheered for Roderick had vanished without a trace.
Hundreds of elite North American players looked as if their vitality had been collectively drained away. One by one, they leaned against the battlements, their eyes vacant.
