The Frost Devils wandering nearby were drawn by the Holy Light Orb and charged in with murderous intent. Their numbers had already far exceeded Song Ling's quest requirement.

Against monsters with such negative attributes, Evergreen's Divinity damage was exceptionally effective.

But his level was low, and he was focused on support, so his damage output was weak. If they relied on the Holy Light Orb to burn these Frost Devils to death, they would be waiting a long time.

And before that happened, the vast horde of Frost Devils would send Evergreen straight back to the respawn point.

She had the stat boost from Shadow's Blessing, and Evergreen had piled a string of buffs on her too. Every one of her stats was through the roof. This was the perfect time to cut loose.

As an Ice Mage, Song Ling's attacks were fairly conventional. Her skills simply had huge areas of effect, high damage, and short cooldowns. On her own, she put out the firepower of an entire squad.

The shards did less damage than the skills themselves, but there were so many of them, spraying in every direction without a blind spot. Shards from multiple skills could stack, too, and the total damage was considerable.
