"An enemy of yours?" Scripps sneered. His dragon claws tore through the air, setting off a series of sonic booms. "If Lord Scripps wants to fight, why should he explain himself to you? But if you insist on a reason, I don't like the look of you!"
The Undead Monarch nearly spat blood.
What kind of reason was that?
It considered itself imposing enough. How had it offended this Shadow Dragon's eyes?
"Since you're asking for death, then die! I happen to need a suitable mount!"
The Undead Monarch roared and swung its Bone Sword, unleashing waves of black sword energy.
The sword energy ripped across the ground, shredding the surrounding Undead Creatures.
Scripps neither dodged nor retreated. Trusting in his indestructible dragon scales, he charged through the sword energy and reached the Undead Monarch.
His claws clashed with the Bone Sword, producing a deafening clang of metal against metal.
Sparks flew, brilliant as fireworks.
"That's it?"
Scripps taunted it, then swept his tail toward the Undead Monarch like a steel whip.
The Undead Monarch raised its sword to block.
Crack!
A hairline fracture appeared in the Bone Sword.
The Undead Monarch was horrified.
How could this Shadow Dragon be so strong?
It dared not clash head-on again and hurriedly retreated.
"Trying to run?"
Scripps sneered. With a beat of his wings, he caught up to the Undead Monarch in an instant.
He breathed Dragon Breath, engulfing the Undead Monarch.
"Aah!"
The Undead Monarch let out a piercing scream.
Its body rapidly melted under the Dragon Breath's heat.
"No!"
The Undead Monarch roared in defiance.
It had never imagined it would die here.
Boom!
At last, the Undead Monarch's body collapsed completely into a heap of white bones.
"Trash."
Scripps spat disdainfully.
He turned to the other Undead Creatures.
"Your
