Han Jiang got out of the vehicle and circled it once. He had no idea what material it was made of; after all the bumps along the way, it had only lost a patch of paint.

"Didn't they say there were around a hundred and twenty Deadwalkers?" Han Jiang asked, looking toward the distant horde.

"Yeah. Count them yourself if you don't believe it." Kiana had already begun checking whether her ammunition was sufficient.

Han Jiang pointed toward the Deadwalkers. "But nobody said there'd also be over thirty Honkai Beasts."

Han Jiang had no interest in the exact number of Deadwalkers, but just looking over there, he could spot three or four especially massive Honkai Beasts.

"With Bronya here, what are you worrying about? We scouted the area yesterday. There aren't any particularly powerful Honkai Beasts." Kiana spoke carelessly.

Mei explained from the side, "We originally planned to go around these Deadwalkers, but with you joining us, Bronya calculated that the four of us have enough strength to take all the points here."

Sure enough, Valkyries couldn't be judged by the standards of ordinary girls. Even Mei, who spoke gently and was good at looking after others, saw nothing wrong with taking on so many Deadwalkers at once.

"Our turn." Kiana loaded a magazine and charged toward the Deadwalker horde without looking back.

Mei gave Han Jiang a gentle smile and followed behind Kiana. "Kiana, slow down. Don't charge in so fast."

Han Jiang glanced at the Deadwalker horde, where artillery fire kept raining down, and felt lingering fear. He could understand Kiana daring to rush in like that, but he had no idea why Mei was joining her madness.

"Please rest assured, Han Jiang. Bronya's error rate is below one in ten thousand. She will not hit any of you." Bronya remained intensely focused as she controlled Heavy Cannon Rabbit and fired continuously.

Han Jiang had no doubts about Bronya's accuracy, but not everyone could calmly charge into a barrage of artillery fire.

Han Jiang encouraged himself. With Bronya's support, he shouldn't think of them as Deadwalkers. They were all Evolution Points, and the Honkai Beasts were no different.

After several rounds of bombardment, a large number of Deadwalkers had fallen, while the more durable Honkai Beasts were already on their last legs.

Han Jiang drew the twin blades from his back and lunged straight at the largest Honkai Beast in the center of the battlefield.

"Begin transmission—Stigmata: Hundred Refinements!"

Han Jiang's Honkai Energy possessed explosive properties, and Hundred Refinements could enhance those properties. It was well suited to the current chaotic situation.

As the Domain Gear activated, Han Jiang's speed surged.

After a few running steps, Han Jiang leaped forcefully onto the back of that Chariot-class Honkai Beast.

Blade Aura gleamed from both blades. Moreover, this Honkai Beast had been one of Bronya's main targets earlier, and it was currently thrashing helplessly on the ground.

Without another word, Han Jiang began hacking at the Honkai Beast's body while also keeping the Deadwalkers from jumping up to cause him trouble.

On the other side, Kiana moved through the Deadwalker horde like a fish in water, firing nonstop and displaying the essence of Gun Fu to the fullest.

Fortunately, the Deadwalkers' bodies had all become silicon-based, so there was nothing too disgusting to see. Otherwise, Kiana probably would not have developed this habit.

When Mei fought, she was completely different from how she usually treated people, revealing another side of herself.

As the rightful inheritor of Hokushin Itto-ryu, Mei's swordsmanship was incredibly fast. With every flick of her wrist, only flashes of Blade Aura could be seen.

After three minutes, Bronya entered the battlefield with Heavy Cannon Rabbit.

Bronya's entry meant that the number of enemies on the field had already been reduced by sixty percent. The remaining Deadwalkers and Honkai Beasts were no longer much of a threat.

Bronya controlled Heavy Cannon Rabbit as it moved around the edge of the battlefield, dealing with the larger Honkai Beasts.

Bronya herself moved along the battlefield's perimeter. Whenever she encountered a dying Honkai Beast or Deadwalker, she would usually kill it in a single move.

Even so, Bronya left immediately after attacking and never looked back to check whether the enemy was still alive.

Her powerful computational abilities, combined with control far beyond that of an ordinary person, allowed Bronya to avoid wasting even a trace of stamina in battle.

Compared to Han Jiang and the other two, Bronya made the least commotion, yet killed the most enemies.

That did not even include the kills made by Heavy Cannon Rabbit or the earlier bombardment. It showed just how skilled Bronya was.

After taking down the largest Honkai Beast, Han Jiang specifically sought out the other Honkai Beasts to kill. There was no other reason—their Evolution Points were worth more.

"Bang!"

A crater suddenly appeared beneath Han Jiang's feet. Not far away, Kiana held a gun in each hand and spun as she fired repeatedly, looking delighted.

"Kiana! Watch your targets! Your stray bullets are landing at my feet!" Han Jiang shouted.

Hearing him, Kiana stopped and stuck out her tongue at him. "This young lady can handle all the Deadwalkers here by herself. Go help Mei and the others."

Though she said that, Kiana slowed her firing and began switching to close-quarters combat.

After another wave of attacks, not many Deadwalkers remained on the field. The greatest threat now was several Rush-class Honkai Beasts floating in midair.

These "flies" were much smaller than the other Honkai Beasts, but they were incredibly annoying.

The low-flying Rush-class Honkai Beasts were extremely fast. Han Jiang would often slash at one, only for it to fly far away before anything happened.

Before Han Jiang could even retract his blade, another one swept at him from the side with its sharp tail fin.

"I'll help you." Mei's gentle voice reached Han Jiang's ears.

Both of them used blades, and both based their swordsmanship on Hokushin Itto-ryu, so they worked together with perfect coordination.

Han Jiang had great explosive power, while Mei's swordsmanship was fast. Therefore, Mei would usually attack first, forcing the "flies" toward Han Jiang, who would then finish them off with a single slash.

The four of them fought for a full thirty minutes. Only a few scattered Honkai Beasts remained on the field, and Han Jiang felt he was reaching his limit.

After Kiana shot down the last Honkai Beast, the four of them sat together on a collapsed floor slab to rest.

"I'm exhausted. This is my first time fighting at such intensity. If there had been any more Deadwalkers, I might've died here." Han Jiang panted heavily.

Bronya's face was flushed, and her breathing was slightly hurried. "Bronya still underestimated Han Jiang's strength. We should have chosen a larger group of Deadwalkers."

"Even more Deadwalkers?" Han Jiang asked in surprise.

"Hehe!" Kiana chuckled foolishly. "Only by pushing yourself to the limit can you improve faster. If you keep fighting in safe conditions, can that still be called fighting?"

Han Jiang pointed at the holes in Kiana's cape. "Look at your cape. It has several huge holes already. If there had been any more Deadwalkers, you would've gotten hurt."

Kiana burst into laughter. "Look at yourself before talking about others, okay? Your arm is still bleeding."

"Kiana, Han Jiang is worried about you," Mei said.

Han Jiang said irritably, "I think all of you are acting recklessly. Even if your strength is close to B-rank, fighting so many Deadwalkers and Honkai Beasts at the same time is still dangerous."
