Kallen looked brimming with excitement as she continued urging Han Jiang in a low voice.
"Come on, hurry up. It'll be daylight soon."
The dress Kallen had brought matched Han Jiang's build, so it was fairly easy for him to put on.
It was the kind of dress an ordinary noble lady would wear. There were also shoes, a hat, accessories to hold in his hands, and a fan to hide his face.
"Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Han Jiang turned his head and said unwillingly, "Then why don't you go?"
Kallen immediately shook her head. "No, no, absolutely not. I'm the Phantom Thief here. How can I let you do it?"
Han Jiang curled his lip. "It's still uncertain who's better at fighting."
Kallen pretended not to hear that. At the same time, she wondered whether she should find another trustworthy partner next time. Two people working together was much better than one.
As Han Jiang changed clothes, Kallen kept demonstrating the posture, mannerisms, and expressions of a noble lady walking.
She told him how to draw more attention and how to catch the guards' eyes.
Han Jiang asked in surprise, "Oh? Looks like you know quite a lot."
Kallen said proudly, "Of course."
"I'm the genius of the Kaslana family. I was already tired of playing with this stuff when I was little. If I..." Kallen abruptly fell silent.
She seemed to have remembered something, yet not really. Her memories just felt strange. Had she been a proper young lady when she was little? It didn't seem quite right.
Kallen shook her head. There was definitely something wrong with her memories, but whether she could remember now was no longer important. What mattered most was sneaking into Victor's residence and stealing treasures.
"Really?" Han Jiang looked at Kallen in disbelief.
