—Goomy was single-handedly defeated by Dry Yogurt.
At first glance, it sounded utterly absurd, the kind of thing that would have to sit at the same table as the shock-value department if it made it onto the news.
But upon thinking it over carefully and considering Goomy's species traits, it somehow seemed somewhat reasonable.
Luo Mu remembered.
The Goomy line, known as the weakest Dragon-type Pokémon, stored almost nothing but water inside their bodies.
Precisely because their bodies were almost entirely made up of water, Pokémon like Goomy had high requirements for environmental humidity. Their usual habit was to hide beneath shady trees with high humidity, generally near water sources.
Or they favored places like wetlands and swamps, areas with bushes they could hide in.
Of course, even in a dry environment, Goomy would not immediately be endangered like a fish out of water.
Goomy wrapped its whole body in a mucous membrane to preserve the water within its body.
That slippery membrane made of goo could also make enemies' close-range punches and kicks slide right off, indirectly improving Goomy's defenses.
But if that mucus dried up, it meant Goomy had already lost a large amount of water from its body.
Even humans could easily face danger after losing too much water, much less a Goomy whose body was almost entirely water.
Once it lost too much water, it would immediately face a life-threatening crisis and lose its vitality because it could no longer breathe.
Wasn't the Goomy in his hands in exactly that condition?
It felt dry, with not a trace of mucus on it. Its entire body was on the verge of death, clearly having lost far too much water.
As for the culprit...
Luo Mu's gaze fell on the huge lump of white paste in Goomy's mouth.
