Within the War God Temple, Fang Qing contemplated the forty-nine murals. Aside from the very first mural and the final two—the forty-eighth and forty-ninth—every other mural contained countless profound mysteries.
Some expounded on innate qi, some on cultivation of the mind, some on the Five Elements Dao, some on natural thunder and lightning. There were also many mysteries concerning the sword Dao, as well as Yin Yang Power.
The profundities of the War God Codex truly surpassed those of the other three great sacred books. Many of the mysteries contained within the "Longevity Art," "Heavenly Demon Great Law," and "Ci Hang Sword Canon" could be glimpsed within the War God Codex, while the War God Codex also contained profundities that the other three great sacred books did not possess.
The more Fang Qing contemplated it, the more he felt that the countless energies between heaven and earth, throughout the universe, seemed capable of being drawn upon by him and transformed into vigorous, inexhaustible life force that continuously nourished his Primordial Spirit and fleshly body.
At the same time, countless traces of life force surged from his Bitter Sea, as though it wished to form its own Inner World, just like the heaven and earth outside.
A person was a Taiji, and heaven and earth were also a Taiji. If the inner and outer Taiji connected, that would be the most powerful state.
Fang Qing did not merely seek to connect his inner and outer Taiji. He also wanted to construct a world within himself. Only then could he not only remain Heaven and Earth as One at all times, but also possess his own unique source of power.
