Inside the Dragon Rider Fighter, a technical officer looked somewhat blankly at the young officer standing before the control console as he watched the footage transmitted by the remote drone.
"No one can change Mr. Lynn's decision."
The young officer shook his head, then looked up toward the War Machines amassed by the Mercenary Group at the edge of his vision, which were gradually closing inward. "All we need to do is follow his orders. No danger in this world can stop him. He is the miracle itself."
The technical officer stared blankly at the young officer's almost fanatical gaze.
He was a technical officer responsible for wilderness transportation and security for the City Defense Army. He had had no role to play during the city defense battle and had not been involved in the core decisions made that night.
Still, he had seen from afar the sight of Mr. Lynn standing atop the Dragon Rider Fighter, holding Scott's corpse aloft like a god. He also had some understanding of Mr. Lynn's personal strength.
