Chapter 1303: Hidden Space

Li Cheng looked at He Ao. He was not surprised that "Hao Yi" had so easily seen through his train of thought.
After all, "Hao Yi" already knew his final decision. It was easy to work backward from the decision and clues to deduce his reasoning.
Well, other people might have had some difficulty with it, but for "Hao Yi," it should have been easy.
But he could not rely too heavily on someone simply because they were too intelligent, nor could he assume they would understand what he meant—especially while they were still getting used to working together. That could cause serious problems.
After sorting through his thoughts, Li Cheng looked at He Ao and raised his hand. The map formed of lightning beneath him expanded further.
The three circular points of light and the nearby paths enlarged, filling the hall around them.
He Ao silently watched the lightning paths flowing through the hall.
There was not no light within the three points. Faint lines still spread through the area, outlining scattered little paths.
But all of those paths ended abruptly. Though they were scattered throughout the inner areas of the three points, the paths extending from each point never intersected, maintaining their isolation.
"You think the item or method capable of shattering an Angel-level Item is hidden within this Research Facility?" He Ao looked at the paths inside the three points, somewhat puzzled. "It doesn't seem like there are any hidden areas here."
If Li Cheng had found a clue, he would not have brought He Ao to linger in this hall. He would have taken him directly to wherever the target was hidden.
