In the spacious hall, more than a dozen people stood in the center. At their head was a burly middle-aged man around forty. He raised his head and stared at He Ao, anger in his features. "Are you trying to stage a Palace Coup? We will never submit to you and the Evil God behind you. Where is Dean Wu Ganglie? Where did you trick him into going?"
"Dean Wu has run into a little problem."
He Ao calmly watched the people before him, sensing the thoughts in their minds. These people were all Wu Ganglie's trusted subordinates.
Wu Ganglie had originally stationed them in different areas as a precaution against accidents. One of them had even been guarding outside the containment facility where He Ao had just been, ready for any emergency.
He Ao had directly used the Verola to travel swiftly, asking them one by one where their companions were before "gathering" them all together.
He took a deep breath and looked at them. "Everyone, this is urgent. I'll need you to remain here for a while."
