The Red Haired Woman raised her head and looked at the sky, already dyed a vivid red, and at the blood-red raindrops streaming down from it.
The crimson that blanketed the heavens was rapidly spreading forward. In every corner of the city, passing pedestrians and lingering vendors all raised their heads to look at the sky above them.
At some point, the flowing rain had also been dyed a deep crimson, falling from the sky like blood and sliding down the edges of the enormous sunshade, forming thick columns of "blood."
"Those audio recordings..." The Old Man standing beneath the umbrella slowly reached out, his fingers touching the "blood" flowing down outside and allowing it to gather in his palm. "Perhaps they were not the key to calming the dark lizard."
