Under the new evaluation system, the ranks were Gold, Epic, Legendary, and Perfect. Epic was worth 7 or 8 points, while reaching 9 points meant advancing to the next rank, Legendary.

But "mastermind behind the assassination" was troublesome. At first, He Ao had no idea who the mastermind was.
So, he had first needed to investigate who the mastermind behind the assassination was.
That split the mission into two steps.
Step one: Find the mastermind behind the assassination.
Step two: Resolve him.
Of course, the first and second steps did not necessarily have to be completed strictly in that order.
He could lay out both plans simultaneously.
