"No, Charn, no."
The Mustached Man raised his head and looked across the street, at the torrential rain connecting heaven and earth. Violent raindrops soaked his cheeks.
On the wall between the convenience store and the bakery, dense fog was rapidly spreading outward.
Seeing this, Charn realized what had happened as well. Without hesitation, he pressed the radio button and shouted, "Evacuate the crowd! Immediately!"
At that moment, the Mustached Man had already pulled out his radio, but when he pressed the transmit button, only intense static came through.
The surging fog swept past them, covering the entire street before rapidly spreading toward the outskirts of the city.
The rain in the sky grew even fiercer.
Some strange force was surging within the fog, and deep in the thick mist, a narrow alley gradually emerged.
The power of the anomaly had spread.
Charn looked up at the surrounding buildings and discovered that they were rapidly growing taller.
Inside and outside the cordon, fog covered the district. The crowd instantly fell into chaos. Some stood at a loss, some fled in panic, and some wandered into the street through the mist.
Just then, a small phantom suddenly rushed out from behind, passed through the fog, and charged into the narrow alley within it.
As she continued forward, fine cracks spread across her porcelain-sheened skin.
Charn turned to look. "It's that doll!"
He immediately tried to stop the doll, but it was already too late.
The doll's body had already fallen into the fog of the alley.

Finn quickly hung up the little plastic flags on the wall. Then he turned around and looked out the window, seeing only a dark sky.
"Huh?" He looked at the child beside him. "Why did it suddenly get dark?"
"I don't know."
