"This is very important intelligence," De Norne said with a slight nod.
"Is that normal even within an anomaly?" He Ao asked curiously.
In truth, he was already somewhat surprised that Finn could interfere with the operations of the Inner World.
"That is what anomalies are," De Norne said with a smile upon hearing He Ao's question. "Anomalies have no logic and cannot be predicted. Any rule appearing within an anomaly is reasonable.
"This rule may apply in this anomaly and save someone's life, but in another anomaly, it could be a deadly trap.
"However, while anomalies are fraught with danger, they are never entirely hopeless," De Norne said with a sigh. "As long as one strictly follows the relevant rules and makes the most of them, even ordinary people may be able to escape alive from a Level 1 Anomaly. Of course, that is only a possibility."
He paused, looked at He Ao, and smiled. "And that only means escaping alive. Solving the anomaly directly like you did is impossible."
"There were a lot of fortunate coincidences involved," He Ao nodded. That was his explanation for having "solved" the anomaly.
"I know," De Norne nodded as well. "Your identity truly helped a great deal in resolving the anomaly."
He looked up at He Ao. "So, is the body of that 'director' still inside the anomaly?"
"I didn't bring it out," He Ao shook his head. "There wasn't enough time. If we added another burden, we might not have escaped."
"Now that the entire Orphanage has reset, that body probably can't be brought out anymore," De Norne nodded slightly. Then he looked at He Ao. "I heard you registered as a Bounty Hunter."
"Yes." He Ao looked at him in confusion, unsure why the other man had changed topics so
