"Alright." He Ao nodded lightly, took the suitcase, and closed it. "Will there be any extra costs?"
"Your bonus is enough to cover all of this," De Norne said with a smile. "And those two Secret Medicine formulas of yours are worth quite a bit too. There'll definitely be money left over. Once the procedures are complete, we'll settle the remainder with you."
"Alright." He Ao glanced at De Norne and nodded slightly.
De Norne looked at He Ao. "So, are you planning to stay in the Dusk Wasteland for a while longer, or would you like to go out for a walk?"
He was asking where He Ao intended to "handle" those Secret Medicines.
"I'll go out for a walk." He Ao looked at De Norne and suddenly asked, "President, do you know where the chairwoman lives?"
"Huh?" De Norne froze. "Why are you asking that?"
"I'm just curious about where an angel lives," He Ao said casually. "If I need to find the chairwoman in the future, I ought to know where to look for her, right?"
De Norne gave him a long look, then led He Ao toward a door off to the side. With practiced ease, he tossed a bone to the reflection of the Midgard Serpent outside, drawing the Midgard Serpent away.
Only after he had stepped ahead of He Ao did he slowly say, "The chairwoman will probably remain in the Dusk Wasteland for some time.
