Chapter 1678: Crazy Angel (Seeking Monthly votes at the Start of the Month)

For the first time, surprise and confusion appeared on Astra's calm face. She raised her gaze and looked at He Ao in bewilderment, as though her mind had crashed and she could not understand what he was saying. "So you... what exactly did the god behind you send you here to do?"

"Why must someone have sent me here?" He Ao quietly watched Future Tower in the sky. "Can't a child who lost his parents come here?"

Astra looked at He Ao blankly. "Who? Who guided you here?"

Seeing her bewildered expression, He Ao chuckled softly. "If someone guided me here, wasn't it you?"

"What do you mean?" Astra looked at He Ao in confusion.

"You created all of this, destroyed everything I had, and guided me here." He Ao watched her quietly, his voice carrying both a sigh and coldness.

"Me?" Astra looked at He Ao. "How could it have been me?"

He Ao watched those bewildered eyes, feeling both some emotion and some anger. He sighed again. "You left murals on the walls of your residence, hinting at the way to open the door. You even left behind the means to reach this place yourself."

His deep eyes were like a clear spring, reflecting Astra's bewildered face. "Are you really Astra?"

"What do you mean?"

Astra instinctively took half a step back and looked at He Ao helplessly.

Then, in the next instant, countless faint green glimmers suddenly spread across her clean, flawless skin, forming fine cracks.

A twisted, illusory figure peeled away from behind her, then quickly moved forward and overlapped with her body. Brilliant green radiance lit up in her pupils, casting an eerie, ghastly pallor over the skin covered in dense cracks.
