"Looks like you've already locked up the Witch Church's angel?" Levi looked at the Old Man and asked slowly.
"For now. But there's something wrong with her condition, so she probably won't be easy to interrogate." The Old Man raised his head, put away the watering can in his hand, and smiled at Levi. "You're more persistent than I imagined."
"I still want to know who the figure was that split open the barrier that night." Levi slowly stepped forward to the Old Man's side and looked at the greenery in the garden. "He was hidden within the clouds and mist then, so I couldn't see what he looked like. His power was too strong, far beyond the realm of an angel."
The outside had already been covered by drifting snow, but in this garden, delicate flowers still bloomed as though it were spring.
"Some doubts," the Old Man said hoarsely, withdrawing his gaze, "do not necessarily need answers right away."
Levi paused slightly at those words. He turned to look at the Old Man, then glanced at the villa hidden in the dark woods behind them.
The villa's servants stood at the entrance, watching the two of them respectfully and quietly.
"You knew I would find this place?" Levi asked softly.
"I guessed." The Old Man smiled. He raised his head, said no more, and turned to look toward the other side of the garden. "Sometimes, being too clever isn't a good thing. Would you accept this old man's invitation to go out for a drink? We won't discuss anything related to that night."
"Alright." Levi glanced at the Old Man and smiled faintly. "Then let me thank you first."
The two slowly got up, turned, and walked out of the garden.
