"That looks like... Dawn City." Seth raised his head and looked at the reflection overhead.

Before that magnificent giant gate, Dester's body had become twisted and terrifying. Raging flames wrapped around him, burning him into a skeleton constructed of fire.
But that skeleton's shape was utterly distorted, as if it had eight or nine arms and seven or eight legs. Yet the bones of those arms and legs quickly contracted inward, vanishing back into his body.
